I have an eight year old son who was diagnosed with ADHD in July 2003 at the age of six. At that point in time I knew absolutely nothing about this condition. I had heard the term but that was as far as my knowledge base went. Since that time I have attempted to find out all I possibly can about ADHD. I have searched the internet for resources, books, websites, etc. I have amassed quite a collection of "stuff." It suddenly occurred to me that I should share this information with others. I sure wish I'd had one place to go to on the web to find out all I wanted to know. So, welcome to my site. I sure hope you find what you're looking for here. ReplyDeleteI know it may seem "out there" but I recently had my daughter looked at by a upper cervical chiropractor. He did magnetic imaging and took xrays of her neck and brain stem area. Nonetheless to say it was pretty out of whack and severely. This initial consultation cost me about 20.00, and I go back on Tuesday to get a report from him regarding whether or not he feels that he can help us with treatment. It seem that how long or when these changes occurred, play a role in whether or not he can help her. Ulitmately, this may lead to "freedom" from all of the ADHD meds we keep taking. Has anybody addressed this type of treatment on this site? And what about diet and vitamin treatments? A friend recently suggested Relive? And I'm thrilled with this website, I finally feel like I have a support group, thank you
