Well, sort of. Henry Winkler, who played Fonzie on Happy Days in the 1970's, has dyslexia. He is also co-author of the Hank Zipzer book series. The series is based on the true life experiences of Mr. Winkler. One of my previous posts is about the book series. My son enjoys reading them and can, more often than not, relate to Hank. Reuters.com has a wonderful story about Mr. Winkler entitled From failure to Fonz: Winkler aims to inspire. He describes what is was like growing up with dyslexia and how it inspired him to create the book series. It's a good, quick read.
We love the Hank Zipzer series. They're the best!
