How to play with your ADHD child

Play is the language of children. Play is how children learn to interact with people and the environment around them. Play can help parents learn to understand their children better. Parent and child relationships are strengthened when parent and child play together.

That is what the author of ADHD & Play at Family Play and Learn.com writes. I must say that I agree. Even as a toddler it was difficult to "play" with my ADHD son (that was way before he was diagnosed of course). He was not interested in conventional toys, and still isn't for that matter. This article addresses this very issue and offers important information and usable advice.
