Dyslexia Research Study

Florida State University has established a Dyslexia Research Registry that you can become a part of. You can participate by mail so it is not necessary to live near the FSU campus. The primary purpose of the registry is....

to facilitate research in the understanding of dyslexia. It collects information from people with dyslexia and matches them up with National Institutes of Health Learning Disabilities Center researchers who are looking for individuals to participate in their studies.

By joining the research study you will be "benefiting the larger community of individuals with dyslexia and assist in improving instruction." Their site offers a frequently asked questions page to answer any questions you may have. To join the research study visit their contact page for full instructions. I have joined and am eagerly awaiting my application form to arrive.

    - Thank you for contacting us with your product. I tinkered with the spell checker for sometime this morning, entering common mistakes that our dyslexic students (and ADD) students make in spelling. I must say that I am extremely impressed with your product and would certainly like to further evaluate it with our students over the next several weeks.
